What This Course Covers
Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health
Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition, whether that is you, a friend, a family member or a colleague.
Our mental health awareness course is suitable for people of all backgrounds as it provides participants with the skills to recognise a suspected mental health condition and the ability to start a conversation and be able to guide a person towards professional help.
This short course is open to everyone and is a great introduction to first aid for mental health.
At the end of your course there will be a multiple choice question paper. There will not be any external assessors and upon successful assessment you will receive a qualification in ‘Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health’.
All of our instructors are highly trained and experienced with real life emergencies and they bring this knowledge to their courses.

Bookings up to 4 individuals
£60 + VAT per person
Groups of 5 – 8
£290 + VAT per group
Groups of 9 – 12
£350 + VAT per group
Qualification
Your award in ‘Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health’ qualification will be valid for 3 years from the date that you finish your training. Should you wish to renew your certificate you will need to attend another 4 hour, award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health course.
Should you require additional FAA & Ofqual external accreditation, we can provide this on any of our courses for private group bookings.
As FAA accreditation is processed externally, there is an additional £15 surcharge for each attendee you wish to regulate.

Private Groups
We are happy to run any of our first aid training courses as private groups at either your venue or one of our training centres in Plymouth. To run a private group we have to charge our small group price as a minimum fee.
